The European Space Technology Harmonisation has been developed to achieve well-coordinated research and development (R&D) activities among all actors of the European space sector, establishing a strong technology base as a means of underpinning the worldwide competitiveness of European Industry and ensuring the success of future space missions.

Invitation to the Meeting

The ESA Harmonisation Team is pleased to invite interested participants to the Harmonisation Meeting of the 1st Cycle 2025.

The meeting will be an opportunity to share information on national capabilities, on-going and planned activities, strategic interests, mission needs, and to discuss the draft Harmonisation Roadmaps of the following space technology topics:

  1. On-Board Radio Navigation Receivers

  2. Enabling Artificial Intelligence for Space System Applications

  3. TT&C Transponders and Payload Data Transmitters

  4. Critical Active RF Technologies

  5. Functional Verification and Mission Operations Systems

The Harmonisation Meeting will be organised in hybrid format at ESTEC using the WebEx software during the period 11-13 February 2025.

*The Harmonisation Meeting is open to all Harmonisation stakeholders: ESA Member States Delegates forming the Technology Harmonisation Advisory Group (THAG), ESA Associate Member States and Cooperating States Delegates, European Institutions (European Commission, European Defence Agency, European Southern Observatory) as well as representatives of the European and Canadian space Industry, Research Organisations and Trade Associations.

 **The event is limited to European and Canadian entities and institutions.

Registration

The registration for the 1st Cycle 2025 Harmonisation Meeting is free of charge. To register, please click the button below. You will be required to create an account first. Registration will close at 23:59 on Sunday, 9 February 2025.

Important: registrants are required to register with their corporate email address as this demonstrates that the registrant is affiliated with a European or Canadian entity or institution.

The 1st Cycle 2025 Harmonisation Meeting will take place at ESA ESTEC in the Netherlands, using WebEx software for those participating remotely. Registered, eligible participants will receive log-in information the day prior to the event.
