2024 Security for Space Systems (3S) is the 1st edition of a conference organised and hosted by ESA on the topic of security for space systems. 3S Conference aims at bringing together academia and industry to present their latest research on security topics for space (see ‘call for papers’ for details on the topics).

Alongside the conference, an industrial exhibition will be organized (see ‘Exhibitors and Sponsors’). European companies active in the security for space systems area are invited to exhibit their products either by means of equipment demonstrations or by appropriate posters. The conference will offer the opportunity of joining industry professionals and academic researchers in a single place allowing to interact with a wide sample of the security community for space systems.

In the context of the conference and in parallel with it, a space system security challenge is being organised, the first of its kind in Europe. For more information, please check “space systems security challenge”). 

The Security for Space Systems 2024 conference will be held in the 27th and 28th of May 2024 at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk (in the Netherlands).
