Hoe te registreren

Toegang is gratis, maar registratie is verplicht – registreer hier. Let op: het aantal plaatsen is beperkt. Als je je geregistreerd hebt maar later merkt dat je niet kunt komen, vergeet dan niet af te melden zodat anderen de kans krijgen om zich aan te melden.

Ter gelegenheid van ESA’s 50-jarig jubileum dit jaar, is het thema van de Open Dag 2025: Elevating the future of Europe, waarin ESA’s technologische leiderschap, onze missie om de volgende generatie te inspireren en onze impact op Europa’s voorspoed centraal staan.

Toegankelijkheid

De ESA Open Dag voor mensen met een beperking vindt plaats als onderdeel van de Nederlandse Week van Toegankelijkheid. De bezoekersroute is ontworpen met rustplekken en verfrissingen ongeveer elke 150 meter, en bezoekers kunnen kiezen of ze de volledige route volgen of slechts een deel ervan. De deuren langs de route voldoen aan de breedtenormen voor rolstoeltoegankelijkheid.

Over ESTEC

ESA ESTEC in Noordwijk, Nederland, is het technische centrum van ESA en de grootste vestiging van de organisatie. Al meer dan een halve eeuw actief, is dit de plek waar ESA-missies worden geboren en nieuwe technologieën worden onderzocht. Voltooide missies worden hier ook getest voordat ze de ruimte in gaan, in Europa’s grootste testfaciliteit voor satellieten.

Admission is free, but you must register to attend – register below. Note: places are limited, so if you’ve registered but find later that you can’t attend, please remember to unregister to give others the chance to apply.

Your own space adventure

Scientists, engineers, and space professionals will be ready to give you first-hand experience of the cutting edge of space science and help you explore all aspects of ESA! As we celebrate ESA's 50th anniversary this year, the theme for the 2025 Open Day will be ‘Elevating the future of Europe: ESA’s technical heart’ highlighting ESA's technological leadership, our mission to inspire the next generation and our impact on Europe's prosperity.

Accessibility

The ESA Open Day for people with a disability takes place as part of the Dutch Week of Accessibility.

The visitor route is designed to include rest areas with refreshments available approximately every 150 m, and visitors will be able to choose whether they venture along the entire route or just a part of it.

The doors along the route comply with width standards for wheelchair accessibility.

ESA ESTEC in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, is ESA’s technical centre and the single largest establishment of the agency.

In operation for well over half a century, this is where ESA missions are born and new technologies are investigated. Completed missions are also tested here before flying to space, in Europe’s largest satellite testing facility.
