While GNSS including Galileo will remain a fundamental backbone, a complementayer layer of Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) from Low Earth Orbit would have the ability to provide several advantages in order to meet new user demands and more challenging applications. After the approval and subscription of the new ESA FutureNAV Programme - Component 1 LEO-PNT* at ESA’s Council at Ministerial Level last November, the Industry Day information will be focused on LEO-PNT In Orbit Service Demonstration roadmap procurement.
The LEO-PNT Industry Day is open to attendees from companies, research institutions and ESA Member States delegates and it will be held in presence in ESA/ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands on 7 March 2023.
Early registration by 5 March 2023 is required.
*The Member States participating in the FutureNAV programme Component 1 LEO-PNT are Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
