A full day scientific workshop is organised by ESA on 29th of February 2024 at ESA/ESOC (Darmstadt, Germany). The aim of the event is to present the current status of the mission, and establish the structure of the GENESIS Science Community alongside with the interactions/interfaces between the ESA GENESIS Project team and various counterparts of the science community, including international services such as IERS, IAG, IGS, IVS, ILRS and IDS.

The event will be split in two parts: presentations from the ESA GENESIS Project team will cover the morning session followed by scientific working group discussions in the afternoon. The morning session will be in hybrid mode with an option to join online, as will be the conclusions at the end of the day, whereas the afternoon discussions will be in-room only.
