ESA Education Scholarship

The ESA Education Office is pleased to offer sponsorship to up to 3 university students interested in attending the course. The sponsorship will cover the course fees (directly paid by ESA Education Office) and contribute to travel and lodging expenses for 5 nights up to some ceiling amounts (to be reimbursed via a single bank transfer after the course).

 To be eligible for an ESA Education Scholarship, students must fulfil the following criteria at the time of application:

  • aged minimum 18 years old;
  • be a citizen of an ESA Member State, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia or Slovenia;
  • be enrolled as an M.Sc. (B.Sc. completed) or Ph.D. student in a university in an ESA Member-State, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia or Slovenia (not graduating before the course);
  • have basic knowledge of antennas theory and related applications.

Priority will be given to students who have never taken part in an activity sponsored by the ESA Education Office and in particular who have not yet attended an ESA Academy training session.

  • upload proof of enrolment in a M.Sc. or Ph.D. programme in a university;
  • upload brief CV of the applicant (PDF, max. 2 pages);
  • upload ‘motivation letter’ describing the fields of specialisation, areas of research and future career aspirations (PDF, max. 1 page, no images).

The deadline for applications is 20 June 2023 at 23:59 CEST.

The decision by the Selection Committee will be communicated by 7 July 2023.
