Arriving by Bus

ESTEC is well connected to local public transport services, making it easily accessible from nearby cities.

From Noordwijk

• Take Bus 385 to the “Schorpioen” bus stop.

• From there, ESTEC is approximately a five-minute walk away.

• For journey planning, visit Qbuzz.

From Leiden

• From Leiden Centraal Station, take Bus 400 (Qbuzz) directly to ESTEC.

• The bus stops directly in front of the ESTEC entrance gate.

• Bus frequency:

  • Four times per hour during peak hours

  • Twice per hour during off-peak hours

• The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

From Schiphol Airport

Participants arriving at Schiphol Airport have several transport options:

• Taxi to ESTEC (approximately 30 minutes)

• Train to Leiden Centraal (approximately 20 minutes), followed by Bus 400 to ESTEC (approximately 30 minutes)

• Taxibrouwer Airport Shuttle

Arriving by Train

The nearest railway station to ESTEC is Leiden Centraal Station. The railway station at Amsterdam Airport is called Schiphol Airport railway station.

Driving Directions

Participants choosing to drive can easily reach ESTEC from Amsterdam or The Hague.

From Amsterdam

• Take the A4 motorway towards Den Haag/Rotterdam, then continue onto the A44.

• Exit at “Noordwijk–Voorhout” and continue towards Noordwijk.

• Follow the signs for “ESTEC”.

From The Hague

• Take the A4 motorway towards Amsterdam and exit at “Leiden”.

• Follow the N206 towards Katwijk and Haarlem.

• Exit at “Katwijk Noord” and follow the small white “ESTEC” signs.
