Delft University of Technology
The conference will be hosted by Delft University of Technology. Delft University of Technology is a public legal entity in accordance with the Higher Education and Research Act (WHW). The main tasks include providing scientific education, conducting scientific research, transferring knowledge to society and promoting social responsibility. The university has been designated as a ‘public benefit institution’.

There are three administrative levels at TU Delft:  the Executive Board, the faculties, and the academic departments. These three administrative levels are governed based on the principle of integral management: the Executive Board, the deans, and the departmental directors are responsible for both the primary tasks (academic research, education and knowledge transfer) and support services. The support for the primary processes is organised within the University Corporate Office.

Faculty of Aerospace Engineering
With 160 scientific staff, 290 doctoral candidates and 2,600 Bachelor's and Master's students, the faculty of Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft is one of the largest, most multifaceted scientific communities focusing on aerospace and related areas (such as wind energy) in the world. Our mission: ‘We aim to be a world-class faculty of Aerospace Engineering, renowned for modern teaching practices, high-profile research, hyper-modern laboratories and facilities, and pioneering innovations’. With these we aim to make an optimum contribution to society at a time when everything is increasingly revolving around connections.

In addition, Delft area has a well-developed transport system.

  • Schiphol Amsterdam International Airport is located 50 KM away from the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. The best way to travel to Delft is by Dutch Railway system.
  • Rotterdam-The Hague International Airport is located 10KM away from the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. The best way to travel to Delft is by local public transportation and the Dutch Railway system.
  • Delft has two train station which can be used to travel to the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. The main train station is Delft Station from where you can travel by public transportation to the faculty. The second train station is Delft Zuid Station, from this station it is a 15 minute walk to the faculty where the conference will be held.
