Goal: Day 2 is essentially a continuation of the discussion initiated on Day 1, and it is very important that the same individuals are on the panel both days. On Day 2 , technical experts present information on space-based mission options, including fly-by mission to collect more information on threatening object and possible methods for deflecting the object given the time available before possible impact. One of the deflection/disruption options will be using a Nuclear Explosive Device (NED).
