Presentation Guidelines

Technical recommendations for Oral Presentations

  • Presenters should allocate 17 minutes per presentation, allowing time for questions and discussions. Care will be taken by session chairs that the overall 20 min time allocation is respected. 
  • Presentations have to be in PDF or PowerPoint format, a PC will be available for your presentations. In case of embedded movoes or animations ensure that the presentation has been tested before the session on the PC. 
  • Your presentation should be uploaded at least 15 minutes before the session starts. Please upload your presentation on the PC, using a USB memory key. Support will be available during the conference. 
  • Presenters should arrive in the meeting room at least 10 minutes prior to the start of their session and should inform the chairperson.
  • Hand-outs of your presentation will not be provided to the participants.
  • Following the workshop, the presentations might be made available to the participants online. Please do inform the workshop organisers at the workshop in case you do not wish to share your presentation, you need to await management approval to share the slides or you need to modify the slides before sharing.



Technical recommendations for Poster Presentations

  • Poster can have a maximum dimension of 90cm wide and 120cm tall fitting A0 format.
  • Push pins will be available at the registration desk.
  • Please bring a printed poster. No printing facilities are available at the Conference Centre.
  • Authors are strongly encouraged to produce a single sheet rather than using multiple sheets of A4 paper.
  • Authors are invited to provide electronic versions of the poster in PDF or PowerPoint.
  • Authors will be assigned a number corresponding to the associated board. Please refer to the corresponding table displayed next to the registration desk.
  • Posters will be on display for the duration of the conference with a dedicated poster session during the first day (12 February 2019). Posters need to be removed at the end of the workshop. Any poster left will be removed and disposed by the organizers.
