Full Paper Submission Instructions

We invite you to submit your full length paper(s) for the HiSST conference via the online submission portal, no later than 15 August 2022

Key points for considerations

  • Authors need to submit their full-length paper(s) in PDF format. Author instructions for the preparation of full-length paper(s) can be downloaded from the following links [ Word Version / LaTex Version]. When completed, each submission should conform in format and style to these instruction sheets. Please read all instructions thoroughly to avoid errors that could result in your paper(s) being omitted from publication.
  • Presenting authors are requested to upload a biography when submitting their full-length paper(s) via the online submission portal. An online biography template can be downloaded from the following link: [Biography Template].
  • Presenting authors will need to register and pay the registration fee for the conference by 15 August 2022, at the very latest. 

Authors presenting online will need to equally submit a pre-recorded voiced-over presentation which will be used as a back up in case of any technical or connectivity issues during the conference.

  • The voiced-over presentation should not be longer than 20 minutes.
  • The voiced-over presentation should clearly show the presentation slides.
  • The voiced-over presentation should not include a speaker video.
  • The voiced-over presentation should be saved in mp4 format as: Paper#_Lastname (e.g. 25_SMITH)
  • Your pre-recorded presentation (mp4 file) must be uploaded via the online submission portal by 1 September 2022.


With the submission of your full paper(s), authors accept the below CEAS guidelines

1. Authors retain copyright of manuscripts

  • Free to publish on ResearchGate, Academia, homesite...
  • Be aware that free public access to manuscripts make journal submittal afterwards difficult.
  • CAES is authorised to publish the manuscripts in the conference proceedings. 

2. Rights of conference organiser and CEAS 

  • CEAS is authorised to archive proceeding manuscripts.
  • Provide paid registered HiSST attendees access to the conference manuscripts up until the next HiSST conference.
  • Provide public access to the conference manuscripts following the subsequent HiSST conference.

3. Limited / restricted access to CEAS proceedings

  • Allowing authors the time to adapt their conference manuscripts for journal submittal.
  • Authors of the best conference manuscripts are invited to submit their manuscripts to CEAS Space or Aeronautical Journals.
  • Authors are free to independently submit their manuscripts.
