EDHPC 2023

We are pleased to share that the proceedings EDHPC 2023
are available through IEEE Xplore here.

We are pleased to inform you that the first European Data Handling & Data Processing Conference – EDHPC 2023 – will be held from the 2nd to the 6th of October 2023 in Juan-Les-Pins (French Riviera). It is organised by the European Space Agency (ESA), with the support of the local tourist office.

The EDHPC will be an international forum covering diverse aspects of the most relevant topics for on-board computers, on-board data handling systems, on-board data processing and microelectronics for space applications including both platform and payload (RF and optical) applications.

EDHPC 2023 is an official IEEE Conference endorsed by the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society.

The main objectives are:

  • to bring together and foster cooperation between different experts in the space data handling, processing, and components fields.
  • to discuss architecture / reference design / component development / performance of current and future data handling - processing hardware for space.
  • to establish closer links between industry and international / national space agencies to enable further developments in these fields.

If you are involved in these fields, whether from industry, universities, research centres or space agencies, we strongly encourage you to contribute to and to join this conference. During the event there will be further networking opportunities for participants at the industrial exhibition which will be held during the whole week.

We are also pleased to announce that the 36th IEEE International Symposium on Defect and Fault Tolerance in VLSI and Nanotechnology Systems (DFTS) will be co-hosted at the Conference Centre of Juan-Les-Pins (3rd of October - 5th of October), giving to the participants of both events (DFTS and EDHPC) the opportunity to meet and exchange. For more details about the DFTS (program and registration), please visit the DFTS website: http://www.dfts.org/.

We have selected Juan-les-Pins for this EDHPC/DFTS edition, near Antibes and not far from Cannes where Thales Alenia Space is located. Other towns nearby include Grasse, famous for its perfume industry, and the medieval town of Saint Paul de Vence, long an artists’ favourite on the French Riviera. A little further off are Nice and Monaco. The chic resort of Juan-les-Pins itself is known for its long, sandy beaches and seafront promenade, lined with smart outdoor eateries and fashion boutiques.
