ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstract submission recipe

  1. Use a text editor of your choice to compile your abstract: title, author(s), affiliation(s) of author(s), and abstract text. Your abstract body should be short (100–500 words), clear, concise, and written in English with correct spelling and good sentence structure.
  2. Select the domain (Solar Reflective or Thermal Infrared) and session most relevant to you.
  3. Your abstract can be presented as an oral or poster presentation. Therefore, you will be asked to indicate your presentation preference.  
  4. Submission via the abstract submission portal
By submitting an abstract, authors accept the Privacy Notice agreement. 

Note that as an output, in addition to the presentations of the workshop, there will be a published report (within a year) containing chapters on consensus best practices of calibration/characterisation needs for specific classes of sensor and applications together with methods capable of addressing them.

Guidelines for Authors

Oral Presentation

  • Time slots for the individual presentations will be indicated in the final agenda that will be made available before XX November 2024. 
  • Please bring your presentation in a PowerPoint or PDF format on a USB stick (make a folder if not a single file), name it LastnameSessionname.type (e.g., PresenterSessionA.ppt).
  • At the beginning of the day, when your presentation is scheduled, please go to the main computer in from of the of the meeting room and provide your presentation. Should your presentation be in the morning, you are kindly invited to upload it to the main computer the day before. 
  • Presenters are kindly requested to be present in the meeting room at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session and to make their presence known to the chair of the session.
  • Presenters are welcomed to use the PPT template for oral presentations. (template to be provided)

Poster Presentation

  • Presenters at the poster sessions shall bring their own printed posters. It will not be possible to print a poster on site.
  • Posters should be mounted on the first day of the meeting. 
  • Poster numbers (according to the conference programme) will be noted on the poster panels.
  • Presenters are welcome to use the template for poster presentations. (template to be provided)
