Palais Wertheim has opened its doors in the first district of Vienna, directly on Schwarzenbergplatz. Thanks to numerous design options, you can realise every event in the extraordinary premises. The Industrialist Franz Freiherr von Wertheim commissioned Heinrich Freiherr von Ferstel to build the Palais which was built between 1864 and 1868. At the end of the 19th century, the Director of the Grey Theater in the PALAIS WERTHEIM was the court actress Valerie Grey. Grey was the daughter of a Hungarian General and belonged to the ensemble of the K.u.K. Imperial Palace Theater.

PALAIS WERTHEIM is located in a prominent position in the centre of Vienna, between the Ringstraße and the Tramline No. 2 with a view of the Karlskirche, next to the Hotel Imperial and the Musikverein directly on Schwarzenbergplatz. Only 200 meters away is the Metro hub Karlsplatz, where all the major underground lines come together. The nearest parking garages are located in the Ringstrasse galleries and next to the Vienna State Opera.
