The registration fees to the course is €2750 and includes the following:
Lecturers are experienced personnel from Industry, Research Institutions and the European Space Agency, their contribution is essential to achieve the objective of the SOIDT, which is to reinforce the community of Optical Engineer operating in the Space Sector.
The number of participants to the SOIDT is limited to 65. The participants will be selected on a first come first serve basis. However, the event is conceived following the values reported in the ESA Convention, namely to “facilitate the exchange of scientific and technical information pertaining to the fields of space research and technology and their space applications”. Although participants are not required to disclose any sensitive information, networking and sharing lessons learned are a trademark of the SOIDT. We therefore welcome participants able to comply with this learning approach.
All applicants shall provide their cv, mentioning their field of expertise, and an overview of the projects they are working on. Following the application, a confirmation email will be sent within two weeks with a link to finalize the registration and for hotel booking.
Accommodation
The SOIDT is conceived as a residential course to facilitate exchange of experience and foster professional networking. The organisation has selected the Colonna Resort, at which we have negotiated very good rates. Participants are requested to stay at the Colonna Resort. A link for the booking will be sent with the registration confirmation.**
* It is possible to bring an accompanying person to stay at the hotel. The accompanying person can have access to the dinners and lunches for an additional fee. This can be booked via the course registration and edited until the 14th of April 2025.
**5 Lunches and 6 dinners are provided on the day of course.
