Objectives and Topics

Objectives

The objectives of the conference are:

  • To encourage and promote the exchange of technical knowledge and ideas covering a broad range of microwave and mm-wave equipment and technologies for space applications between system, payload, equipment and technology specialists
  • To present and promote discussion on state-of-the-art trends in microwave, millimetre wave and THz research, technologies and techniques
  • To assess the impact of these technologies and techniques on future satellite systems at space, ground and user segment levels
  • To identify enabling technologies for performance and/or cost breakthroughs.
  • To provide a forum to foster good relationships and contacts between ESA, national space agencies, research institutes, academia and industry
