Abstract Submission

Author(s) are invited to submit an extended abstract for oral or poster presentation. The extended abstract should be in English and include title of the paper, name and affiliation of author(s), scope and major findings or lessons learned from the work, preference of oral or poster presentation. The extended abstract can be submitted by completing the on-line abstract submission form:

Title
Abstracts are to be approximately 500 words in length.
Proposed theme (see "Topics" page)
Full name of all author(s)
Indication of presenting author
Institution addresses and e-mail, telephone contact details
Proposed type of presentation (oral or poster)
Summary, major results/ interests and novelties of the submission

Notification to Authors
Each submitted abstract will be reviewed. Acceptance of abstract will be based on appropriateness of the topic, quality, novelty and clarity of exposition. Notification of acceptance as oral presentation or poster will be provided to authors on 15 July 2025. Authors whose papers have been accepted will then receive instructions for the preparation of their paper and will be invited to prepare a final proceedings paper.

Final Paper Submission
Authors have to deliver their final paper(s) (maximum of 8 pages) by 31 August 2025 as electronic ‘PDF’ file.

Author/Presenter Registration
Presenters are invited to register on the symposium website (see the registration section) before 15 August 2025. Please note that the organisers will check that for every paper at least one author has registered for the symposium before the paper is included in the programme and proceedings.

Publications
Final papers will be published in the symposium proceedings. These proceedings will be distributed electronically to the participants and will be published on internet, for unrestricted access, 6 months after the symposium.
