About the Symposium
The European Space Agency is delighted to announce the 2025 edition of the AI STAR Symposium - Artificial Intelligence Symposium on Theory, Application, and Research. This third edition of the event will take place on-site at ESOC, Darmstadt, and will also be broadcast online from Wednesday 3rd to Friday 5th December 2025. This year, the event expands to a three-day format, offering even more opportunities for learning, connecting, exploring and innovating.
The AI Star Symposium brings together leading voices from industry, academia, policy, and research to explore the transformative potential of AI in the space sector and beyond.
In previous editions, the event welcomed speakers from top-tier AI companies and institutions (e.g., Cohere, AWS, IBM, Nvidia), representatives from industry leaders applying AI in engineering (e.g., Airbus, Merck, J.P. Morgan), thought leaders and innovators – all contributing to a dynamic, high-level forum fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration.
Identify concrete technological solutions addressing current and future needs in our organisations.
Connect the communities and enable interactions to lay the foundations for further collaborations.
Inspire and enable the public to learn about AI research and applications from experts.
