Presentation & Poster Guidelines

Technical Recommendations for Oral Presentations

  • The working language of the conference will be English.
  • Presenters shall allocate 20 minutes for their presentation - including 5-10 minutes for Q&A
  • Presenters should strictly follow the oral presentation template available here.
  • Please submit your oral presentation here before May 16, 2023. at the latest. You will need to log in with the same credentials you had used to submit your abstract. Once logged in, go to the "Presentation Submission" tab and here you will be able to submit your presentation document.  NOT APPLICABLE FOR POSTERS!

  • Presenters are kindly requested to arrive in the meeting room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the session and contact the organisers and/or session chair
  • The presentation should contain clear information with appropriate font size that is legible from the back of the conference room.
  • Handouts of your presentation will not be provided to the participants. However, presentations will be published on the website. Please make sure to clear your presentation of any restrictions preventing it from being published on the official conference website.
  • A PC will be available for the presentations. For performing the presentation, MS-PowerPoint or Adobe PDF Reader will be used.

Technical Recommendations for Poster Presentations

  • Presenters at the poster session shall bring their own printed posters. It is not possible to print a poster on site.
  • Authors are strongly encouraged to produce a proper poster rather than using multiple sheets of A4 paper.
  • The poster shall be A0 format. Note that it is mandatory to use one of the following 2 templates!:

  • The information on the poster must be free of any business sensitive information.
  • Poster numbers (according to the conference programme) will be noted on the wall panels.
  • Presenters shall be available at their poster during Coffee Breaks in order to answer to the conference participants’ questions. 
  • Posters will be displayed for the duration of the conference.

Rights and Permissions

Prior to submission, authors should obtain all clearances, authorizations and licenses needed for submission of the abstract and the presentation at the conference. Authors are informed that their abstract and presentation will be included in the proceedings and made publicly available.

Disclosure

If the topic, presented in the abstract, was previously presented in a conference and published in a conference proceedings or is under consideration for publication in a conference proceedings, this information must be disclosed when the abstract is initially submitted to this conference.
