The ESA Space Mechanisms team will host the annual Space Mechanisms Workshop and Final Presentation Days. The event will take place from April 2 to 4, 2025.
The theme of the Space Mechanisms Workshop will be focused on Compliant Mechanisms. The aim of the workshop is to provide an overview of recent developments and future needs for the use of complaint mechanisms in the space hardware. Furthermore, the workshop will provide a platform to the community to interactively discuss such topics as:
- Applications and advantages of using compliant mechanisms
- Traditional and Additive manufacturing technologies
- State of the art, innovation opportunities and future R&D
The workshop is also an opportunity for attendees to network with other space mechanisms professionals and to stay informed of the latest compliant mechanism technologies developments.
The 2025 edition of the event will be an in-person event held at ESA/ESTEC in the Netherlands.
Please note that due to the nature of the information that will be shared, this event can only be attended by participants from entities registered in an ESA Member State, Associate State or Cooperating State.
