Space mechanisms final presentation days

The ESA Mechanisms Section hosts its annual Space Mechanisms Final Presentation Days to disseminate the results of research and development activities to interested parties from the ESA member states. The 2025 edition will take place immediately following the annual Space Mechanisms Workshop on Compliant Mechanisms. The combined event will take place from April 2 to 4, 2025.

The Space Mechanisms Final Presentation Days represent an opportunity to gain a complete overview of recently completed activities, and the possibility to discuss and share views on R&D directions, strategies, technologies and investments with colleagues from the space mechanisms community.

The 2025 edition will be an in-person event held at ESA/ESTEC in the Netherlands.

Please note that due to the nature of the information that will be shared, this event can only be attended by participants from entities registered in an ESA Member State, Associate State or Cooperating State. ESA Member states (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom), associated states (Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia) or cooperating states (Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus and Malta).

Presenter Instructions

The presenters of the Space Mechanisms Final Presentation Day are asked to take the following points into consideration: 

All oral presenters are asked to prepare a presentation and have it available for sharing on the day.  A PDF or PPT shall be delivered by e-mail, to dorota.budzyn@ext.esa.int, no later than Wednesday 26th of March 2025.
The presentation duration shall be max 20 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of questions from the participants.
All oral presenters are requested to register by Wednesday 19th of March 2025.
