"Kostis Palamas" Building
The OBPDC workshop will take place at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, simply referred to as the University of Athens, and in continuous operation since its establishment in 1837. It is one of the top ranking universities in Greece, and ranked #260 in Best Global Universities.
The actual workshop will take place on the 2nd floor of the historic neoclassical building "Kostis Palamas" known for its intense red-brown colour. It was built in the mid-1850s and serves as Cultural Centre and Lounge of the University of Athens. There is also a restaurant in the Centre, which operates daily, called "The Kapodistrian".
How to get there:
Taking the Athens metro line M2 from Anthoupoli to Elliniko (red line), you disembark at ‘Panepistimio’ station (ΣΤ. ΠΑΝΕΠΙΣΤΗΜΙΟ) and head toward to Akadimias exit. Then you head southeast on Panepistimiou street (Πανεπιστημίου) toward to Riga Fereou (Ρήγα Φεραίου) street, turn left on Riga Fereou street and almost after 200m you will turn right on Akadimias (Ακαδημίας) street. After 130 meters, you will see the ‘Kostis Palamas’ Building at your left.
