Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentations

Presentation Details:

  1. Time Slot for oral presentations: 10 minutes for the presentation followed by 10 minutes for questions.
  2. Template: Use the provided template [Oral Presentation Template] ensuring clear information and legible font size. 
  3. File Naming Convention: "SMITH_PPT"
  4. Submission Deadline: Please submit your PDF presentation via the below online submission tool no later than 15 September 2024.
  5. Equipment: A computer will be available for the presentations.
  6. Backup: Bring your PowerPoint presentation on a USB memory stick  during the break before your session starts in the session room.

Additional Required Files (by 15 September 2024):

  • Biography: Oral presenters equally need to upload their biography via the below online submission tool. A biography template can be downloaded from the following link: [Biography Template]. 
  • Oral Presentation: Follow advice provided in your notification email.

Pitch Presentations

Pitch Presentation Details:

  1. Time Slot pitch presentations: 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
  2. Template: Use the provided template [Pitch Presentation Template] ensuring clear information and legible font size. 
  3. File Naming Convention: "SMITH_PITCH"
  4. Submission Deadline: Please submit your PDF pitch presentation via the below online submission tool no later than 15 September 2024.
  5. Equipment: A computer will be available for the presentations.
  6. Backup: Bring your PowerPoint presentation on a USB memory stick  during the break before your session starts in the session room.
  7. Associated Materials: Inform the ESA Conference Bureau about any poster or DEMO associated with your pitch and necessary logistics (room/poster/panel/table/chairs/cables/etc.). Dedicated areas can be reserved on request for Day 2 and Day 3.
  8. Promotional Material: Consider bringing promotional materials to distribute to participants.

Poster Presentations

Poster Presentation Details:

  1. Template: Use the provided template [Poster Presentation Template] ensuring clear information and legible font size.
  2. File Naming Convention: "SMITH_POSTER"
  3. Submission Deadline: Please submit your PDF poster presentation via the below online submission tool no later than 15 September 2024.
  4. Poster Size: Poster dimensions should correspond to DIN A0 format (84.1 cm wide and 118.9 cm high) presented in portrait orientation (vertical display). Please create a single, cohesive poster rather than multiple sheets of DIN A4 paper.
  5. Logistics: Bring your own printed poster; on-site printing is not available.
  6. Poster Numbers: Will be noted on the wall panels according to the conference program.
  7. Display Duration: Posters will be displayed for the entire conference. Dedicated poster sessions are included to facilitate interaction around the topics.

Additional required files are to be submitted by Sunday, 15 September 2024, 23:59 CEST via the online submission tool, which can be accessed by clicking the button below.
