The Government of Catalonia and the Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC) are delighted to welcome all participants and sponsors to the 10th International Workshop on On-Board Payload Data Compression (OBPDC 2026), hosted by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) from 12 to 14 October 2026.

These capabilities have already achieved flight heritage: a prominent milestone is Menut, the Catalan Government's first Earth Observation nanosatellite, equipped with the IEEC-developed C3SatP high-performance onboard computer to validate advanced data-processing algorithms in orbit. Supported by the Catalonia Space 2030 Strategy, these achievements showcase a rapidly growing ecosystem spanning small-satellite systems, advanced microelectronics, and edge computing for space applications.
