Social Activities

Aside from the Welcome Reception and Product and Poster Exhibition event, which are part of the conference programme for all registered participants, there are several other social activities organised to network with colleagues from across the world. These additional social activities are included in the standard conference registration fee. Guest tickets however may be purchased at a surcharge. As these social events aren't included in the student registration fee, students will also have the possibility to purchase tickets at a surcharge.

Welcome Reception

All those who arrive the night before the conference are invited to pre-register and join us for an informal drink. This is the best opportunity to cheer for a remarkable start of the 2023 GNC and ICATT Conference with old and new faces alike.

Welcome Event

We will continue the tradition of kick starting the GNC and ICATT conference at a local brewery where we create a welcoming environment for newcomers and veterans alike whilst enjoying craft brews and local food together!

Product Exhibition

The aim of the exhibition is to provide a platform for (1) manufacturers involved in the AOCS/GNC subsystems to promote their products, and (2) potential users to obtain a full and up to date overview of the currently available and next generation products.

Come to the exhibition and network with your peers, as well as conference sponsors and exhibitors, while enjoying light hors d’oeuvres. 

Gala Dinner

For our Gala Dinner, we have chosen the highest viewpoint in Northern Poland! Located on the 34^th floor of the 180m tall Olivia Star high rise, it offers outstanding 360-degree views of the surrounding Tri-city area and Baltic coast 

Spend time marveling at the skyline before the sunset disappears on the horizon and immerse yourself in the thousands of twinkling lights that stretch across the city below while enjoying a 3-course menu, including drinks, live music and stimulating conversation.

Farewell Event

Come party and celebrate a successful four days, at our Farewell event! The summer setting of the event and the beach vibes encourage a more personal communication in a relaxing environment under the beautiful Sopot night sky.
During this time enjoy a scrumptious gourmet barbeque meal and drinks, live entertainment, and an opportunity to kick up your heels on the dance floor!
