In ICSO we take seriously the need for social networking and appreciate that colleagues who have travelled from across Europe and across all the corners of the Earth want a hassle-free and comfortable way to witness the local region with its culture and history. Especially since the bay of Napoli with the Amalfi coast is one of the most historic and beautiful places in the world. Therefore, we plan a number of events to enhance the overall experience of travelling to Sorrento and attend ICSO-2026. We selected the most important places for a full yet affordable experience.

While staying in Sorrento, participants may also wish to take advantage of the opportunity to visit the beautiful island of Capri, renowned for its dramatic coastline, elegant atmosphere, and stunning sea views. Capri was the basis of the Roman Emperor during the times of Jesus Christ, many important personalities have lived periods of their lives here and it is featured in so many classical films.
No organised conference tours are planned for this visit as Capri is easily accessible via regular public boat services operating directly from Sorrento harbour. More information can be found here: https://www.capri.com/.
