The Ministry of Digital Governance is co-hosting this conference with the European Space Agency. The Ministry is a public administration unit which brings together critical Greek IT and telecommunications structures related to the provision of electronic services to citizens and the wider digital transformation of the country.

HellasQCI


Hellas Quantum Communication Infrastructure is a part of the ECs EuroQCI initiative, and is co-funded by the European Union under the Digital Europe Programme. The HellasQCI aims to deploy advanced national QCI systems and networks in Greece. The technological advancement targeted by the realisation of the HellasQCI include:

  • reinforcement of Scientific and Technological capabilities in cybersecurity
  • improvement of industrial competitiveness
  • strengthening European digital sovereignty

City of Kalavryta

The City of Kalavryta is not only hosting the Workshop on “Quantum Internet”, it is also supporting the Annual ScyLight Conference with logistics and hospitality. 


National Observatory of Athens

The National Observatory of Athens is the oldest research foundation in modern Greece, and one of the oldest research institutes in Southern Europe. It operates the Helmos Observatory located on mount Helmos (Aroania)at an altitude of 2340m, close to the city of Kalavryta in one of the darkest areas in Greece and Europe.
