Bus Schedule
We have arranged a series of bus shuttles with the company Brouwer Tours to bring you from one location to the other. Please think carefully about where you will be and which activities you will join, so that you can catch the proper bus.
If you dont want to make use of the following shuttles or, if you are staying at different hotels, you can of course use public transport.
Monday 20 April - Tutorials
If you are staying at NH Leeuwenhorst on Sunday 19 night, you can take the following bus on Monday morning to reach ESA ESTEC for the Tutorials:
Bus NH Leeuwenhorst > ESA ESTEC. Pick up 07:45 from the Hotel Main Entrance.
If you will come to the Tutorials at ESA ESTEC and then to the Welcome Reception at Space Expo on Monday night, you can simply walk there (5 min.).
Monday 20 April - Welcome Reception
If you arrive at NH Leeuwenhorst on Monday during the day, you can join the Welcome Reception at Space Expo with the following bus:
Bus NH Leeuwenhorst > Space Expo. Pick up 17:45 from the Hotel Main Entrance.
On the way back from Space Expo, the following has been arranged:
Bus from Space Expo > NH Leeuwenhorst. Pick up 21:00 in front of Space Expo.
PLEASE NOTE: The bus will make a stop at the Alexander Hotel Noordwijk, for people staying in the different Noordwijk hotels.
Wednesday 22 April - Gala Dinner
Bus NH Leeuwenhorst > Louwman Museum, Pick up 18:00
Bus Louwman Museum > NH Leeuwenhorst, Pick up 23:00.
PLEASE NOTE: The bus will make a stop at the Alexander Hotel Noordwijk, for people staying in the different Noordwijk hotels.
Friday 24 April - Satellite Meeting
If you are staying at NH Leeuwenhorst on Thursday 23 night, you can take the following bus on Friday morning to reach ESA ESTEC for the Satellite Meeting:
Bus NH Leeuwenhorst > ESA ESTEC. Pick up 07:45 from the Hotel Main Entrance.
If you are joining the ESTEC Tour on Friday afternoon, please remain at ESTEC and follow the Local Organising Committee (LOC).
Friday 24 April - VSL Tour
If you are staying at NH Leeuwenhorst or if you are joining the Satellite Meeting at ESA ESTEC, you can take the following bus on Friday afternoon to reach the VSL Institute:
Bus NH Leeuwenhorst > ESA ESTEC > VSL National Metrology Institute in Delft. Pick up 13:30 from the Hotel Main Entrance, about 15 min later from ESA ESTEC entrance.
On the way back from VSL, the following bus has been arranged, via Leiden Central Station. From this station you can easily reach Schiphol Airport.
Bus VSL National Metrology Institute > Leiden Central Station > NH Leeuwenhorst. Pick up 17:00 in front of the institute.
Friday 24 April - ESA ESTEC/Space Expo Tour
Tours of ESA ESTEC are available both in the morning and in the afternoon at these times:
- 10:00
- 14:00
The following buses have been arranged:
Bus NH Leeuwenhorst > ESTEC/Space Expo. Pick up 09:30 from the Hotel Main Entrance.
Bus NH Leeuwenhorst > ESTEC/Space Expo. Pick up 13:30 from the Hotel Main Entrance.
If you are joining the ESTEC Tours from the Satellite Meeting, please just remain at ESTEC and follow the instructions given by the Local Organising Committee.
