Abstract Submission

Welcome to IEEE GNSS+R 2025, the leading international meeting for sharing and discussing the most recent advances in science, engineering and applications of Reflectometry using Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) signals and other signals of Opportunity (SoOP).

We invite submissions focusing on advances of GNSS-R and SoOP-R, including but not limited to theory and modelling, signal processing and algorithms, instrumentation and calibration/validation, new and existing missions, applications for ocean, land, cryosphere and atmosphere/ionosphere, data assimilation and data fusion.

Contributions submitted to GNSS+R 2025 will be considered for program placement under the standard peer review process. The Technical Program Committee will organize all accepted papers into either oral or poster sessions. 

  •      Abstract length: 2 – 4 pages
  •      Acceptance process: Standard Peer Review
  •      Presentation: Oral or Poster. The participation to the workshop will be in person only.
  •      Maximum number of abstracts per presenter: 2.
  •      Proceedings: A link will be shared to the abstracts.
  •      Publication: We plan to propose a special issue in IEEE JSTARS that authors will have the option of submitting         to.Papers will undergo the normal peer review process. Submission details will follow in a later stage.

The deadline for submitting your abstract has been extended to 6 January 2025 (NEW). The templates for the abstracts can be found in the tab on Scientific Content / Presenter Guidelines. For changes to your abstract after submission, please contact the ESA Conference Bureau: esaconferencebureau@atpi.com.

Each submitted abstract will be reviewed. Acceptance of abstract will be based on appropriateness of the topic, quality, novelty and clarity of exposition. Notification of acceptance as oral presentation or poster will be provided to authors on 27 January 2025. The abstracts of the accepted presentations will be collected in the abstract proceedings of the conference. There will be no full papers requested, but the possibility to update the accepted abstracts, until the day before the conference (22-April-2025), still within the page limit of 2-4 pages. 

Presenters are invited to register (see the registration section) before 10 March 2025. Please note that the organisers will check that for every paper at least one author has registered before the paper is included in the programme and proceedings.
