For changes to your abstract after submission, please contact the ESA Conference Bureau: esaconferencebureau@atpi.com
The deadline for abstract submission is 15 April 2026.
Notification to Authors
Each submitted abstract will be reviewed by the relevant ICSO sub- committee. Acceptance of abstract will be based on appropriateness of the topic, quality, novelty and clarity of exposition. Abstracts lacking substantial information will be rejected. Notification of acceptance as oral or poster presentation will be provided to authors by 15 June 2026. Authors whose abstracts have been accepted will then receive instructions for the preparation of paper and will be invited to prepare a final proceedings full paper.
Final Paper Submission
Authors have to deliver their final, full paper(s) of at least 6 pages by 20 August 2026 as electronic ‘PDF’ file. With the submission of a final paper, authors are effectively granting copyright to the conference organisers for inclusion in the proceedings.
ICSO has a strict "no paper - no podium/poster" policy. This means that if the full paper is not submitted on time your placement in the oral or poster session will be cancelled and your time slot in the oral presentations will be substituded by a contribution initially reserved for poster presentation.Author/Presenter Registration
Presenters are invited to register on the conference website (see the registration section) before 20 August 2026. Please note that the organisers will check that for every paper at least one author has registered for the conference before the paper is included in the programme and proceedings. Please notice that ICSO has a strict policy of “no presenter registration-no podium/poster” to ensure that there are not oral slots wasted or posted stands unattended.
Publication in the SPIE Digital Library
Final papers will be published in the conference proceedings. These proceedings will be distributed electronically to the participants during the conference and will be submitted for publication to the SPIE Digital Library after the conference.
Please notice that the SPIE screens the full papers for plagiarism. This means that if your paper contains a substantial percentage of content that has already been published in other journal or conference proceedings will be automatically rejected from being published in the SPIE site to host the ICSO 2026 proceedings.
