The “classic” technical themes of the SESP workshop can be sorted into five main themes, each with its associated set of topics detailed below.
• Hardware-In-The-Loop Simulation
• Real-Time simulation: scheduling and data communication
• Operations preparation, mission planning and simulation-based training
• Reuse of simulation products: models, architectures, procedures and databases
• Validation and verification of simulators
• EGSE Building Blocks
• Remote testing
• Commonality with mission operations
• Verification and validation on system, software and element level
• Visualisation of simulation data
• Model Based Verification
• Spacecraft Ontology
• Model based specification
• Data continuity
• Spacecraft Reference Databases
• System, Simulation, AIT Databases
• Sustainability of Data centres Data systems
• Sustainable computing
• Power efficiency
Contributions addressing the technical themes listed above are always welcomed at SESP. Please note that the list above is not considered exhaustive, and authors are encouraged to propose papers on topics they consider relevant, even if they are not explicitly mentioned here.
Abstracts (and later papers if accepted) can address specific experience from past and current activities, describe trends and commonalities, or discuss future plans and new technologies and trends.
Upon submission of their abstracts, authors will have to select the themes that their paper will contribute to.
