Building on the success of the previous editions held in Monopoli, Italy (2019), Heilbronn, Germany (2022), and Arcachon, France (2025), FAR has developed into a well‑established international forum for technical and high‑level exchanges on aero(thermo)dynamics, flight vehicles and flight physics, and atmospheric re‑entry. The most recent edition was widely recognised for the high quality of its technical programme and for the balance between formal sessions and opportunities for professional interaction during social events.

The 2027 edition in Toledo aims to further strengthen this distinctive combination. Alongside a technical programme of the highest standard, FAR 2027 will place strong emphasis on providing an outstanding conference environment with social events for in‑depth technical discussions, networking, and lasting professional connections.

FAR 2027 will once again bring together experts from research organisations, industry and space agencies to discuss current challenges, recent advances and future perspectives in flight vehicles, aero(thermo)dynamics and re‑entry.
