Social Events
Aside from the technical programme during FAR 2027, there are several social activities organised to network with colleagues from across the world. The Pre-registration Reception, the Icebreaking Cocktail and the Gala Dinner are part of the programme for all regular registrations. The student registration includes only the Pre-registration Reception, while tickets for the Icebreaking Cocktail and Gala Dinner can be purchased during registration.
Pre-registration Reception
Following the Sunday Lecture Day, participants are invited to complete their conference registration and join the Pre-registration Reception at the conference venue.

Ice Breaking Cocktail
The Icebreaking Cocktail will take place on Monday, 12 April 2027, immediately following the first day of the conference. Hosted in the gardens of the Museo de Santa Cruz, one of Toledo’s most emblematic historic buildings. Conveniently located directly next to the conference venue, the gardens provide an elegant outdoor setting where participants can enjoy a selection of regional specialities, Spanish wines, and other beverages served from a variety of tasting stations.| Date | Monday, 12 April 2027 |

Gala Dinner
The FAR 2027 Gala Dinner will take place on Wednesday 14 April 2027 at the magnificent Cigarral del Ángel, one of Toledo’s most prestigious venues. Perched on the hills overlooking the Tagus River, the venue offers an unparalleled panoramic view of the historic city, whose skyline of churches, palaces and ancient walls has earned Toledo its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
