ESA Academy Student Sponsorship

ESA Academy is pleased to sponsor up to 2 tertiary education students to attend the 4th International Conference on Flight Vehicles, Aerothermodynamics and Re-entry (FAR 2027) under the ESA Academy Conference Student Sponsorship Programme.

The sponsorship covers:
· The early-bird student registration fee;
· Up to EUR 350 for travel;
· Up to EUR 375 for accommodation (up to 5 nights).

Reimbursements will be made via a single bank transfer after the event, upon submission of the relevant receipts.

Eligibility

To be eligible for an ESA Academy Student Sponsorship, students must fulfil the following criteria at the time of application:
· Individually present an accepted contribution at the conference (oral presentation, poster, or other);
· Be at least 18 years old at the time of the conference;
· Be a citizen of an ESA Member State, Associate Member, or Canada;
· Be enrolled as a student (Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate) in a tertiary education academic programme and not graduate before the conference;
· Not benefit from overlapping financial support to attend this conference, unless duly justified;
· Agree to the conditions of the ESA Academy Privacy Policy.

Priority will be given to students who have less than two years of professional experience and who have never previously participated in an activity sponsored by the ESA Education Office.

Application

Applications should be submitted after the notification of abstract acceptance and before the early-bird registration deadline, so that applicants can meet the eligibility requirement of having an accepted contribution while still having sufficient time to register at the early-bird rate.

The deadline for applications is December 23rd at 23:59 CEST.

The decision of the Selection Committee will be communicated by January 23rd.
