Archachon Bay

As Arcachon Palais des Congrès hosts the conference, the bay of Arcachon is of course the first destination to visit in your spare time before, during or after the conference.

The city of Arcachon offers many interesting spots for you to discover and enjoy: restaurants, shops, the so-called “Ville d’Hiver” (Winter City), the “Belvédère” and the Saint Paul footbridge, among many others.
Or simply walking along the beach is also a privilege not to be missed!

All around Arcachon Bay are also dozens of enchanting destinations, some of which are indicated on the map below.

Bordeaux

Assuming you have some plans to extend your stay in the area and have exhausted all the destinations in Arcachon Bay suggested above, one idea would be to visit nearby Nouvelle Aquitaine region capital : Bordeaux.

As for Arcachon, there are so many locations to visit that it is impossible here to list them all.
